My conclusion: Half-Life 2 plus Episodes 1 and 2 might be the best gaming combo of all time. The mythology is deep, far-reaching and engrossing; graphics have held well; face animation/voice acting are excellent and reach L.A. Noire-like levels most of the time.

12h 56m Played. Half-Life 2 managed to do things that few sequels do. It actually fixed many of the issues I had with the original as well as get even better in other areas. It isn’t perfect but it is a damn fine game even almost seventeen years after it’s initial release at the time of writing this.
I found out this little tiny thing.At the end of the gameplay of the Half-Life 2 Episode 2 i realized (when watching like 20 times) that Eli clearly knows what is on "Borealis" but at the THAT DAMN END Advisor kills Eli but he clearly takes out his brain.Maybe combine now knows what "Borealis" contains.
