Heyeveryone, I just thought I'd write a post about my experience with my 7 day fast. First, background info. This was not my first fast. I've done short 48 hr and 72 hr fasts in the past. 1.5 years ago I did a 7 day fast. It was the last fast that I did (other than OMAD). I felt HORRIBLE after that fast. It took me days to recover.Interestingly protein-based beverages may decrease autophagy activity. In a randomized control crossover trial, eight males were administered different protein/carb beverages after completing a 36-hour fast.
